It was a dramatic change for the Lesters going from a relatively quiet of life during the COVID-19 pandemic to living on takeout in a hotel.
But it may have been just the excitement the Caledon couple needed.
Heather and Frank Lester moved out of their house on Boston Mills earlier this month to allow production crews in to film a psycho-thriller movie, The Marsh King’s Daughter.
“It was so interesting,” said Heather Lester. “More excitement than we’ve had in a long time.”
The adventure started after a scout from Helena Pictures Inc. drove up the driveway of their one acre property and told them he was interested in the location for filming.
After stashing away their personal belongings, the Lesters moved to a hotel for nine days.
“It was tricky because the hotel didn’t have any services. The pool was closed, the gym was closed,” said Heather. “We ate a lot of takeout,” she said, laughing. Read the full article.
